RX7 FC Z32 Dual Caliper Bracket

Description

Ditch those stock single-piston rear calipers that are a pain to rebuild and cost a fortune to replace! Heintz MFG CNC machined 7075 aluminum caliper brackets allow PBM Z32 calipers to be mounted as a rear foot brake, hydraulic handbrake, or both! This is the ultimate kit for locking up bigger tires for drifting, and as such, requires the use of bigger RX7 FD rotors to increase stopping power.

Which Kit Should I Select?:

• If you’re only looking for a rear foot brake caliper upgrade, you can choose to purchase “Foot Brake Brackets ONLY” or “Hydraulic Handbrake Brackets ONLY.” Most people opt for the hydraulic handbrake brackets because it’s a bolt-on solution vs the foot brake bracket which requires cutting the knuckle for clearance – it really just depends what side you want the caliper on and how you want to run your brake lines.
• If you already have the MRP bracket that uses stock foot brake calipers on an FD rotor and just want to add on the Z32 hydraulic handbrake calipers, select “Hydraulic Handbrake Brackets ONLY” (this is the only version that retains factory parking brake)
• Select “both” for dual Z32 calipers and max awesomeness

Specs:

• Requires stock diameter (294mm) rear rotors from a 1993-1995 RX7 FD (not included)
• Fits 1986-1992 2^nd Generation Mazda RX7 FC with 5 lug hubs or Ronin 8.8 Grande FC hubs
• Designed for use with rear Parts Shop Max (PBM) Z32 calipers
• CNC Machined 7075 Aluminum (double the strength of 6061!)
• Comes in raw machined finish
• Grade 10.9 hardware included

Modifications Required:

• The OEM FC foot brake bracket on the knuckle needs cut off and clearanced to fit new bolt-on brackets. A 3d printed cut fixture is included to aid in marking the cut line and making this process easy!
• The outer edge of the RX7 FC hub flange needs a small amount of clearance grinding in order to fit the inside diameter of the RX7 FD rotor. A 3d printed cut fixture is included for this as well.
• The stock RX7 FC parking brake can not be used. Wilwood shutoff valve (Part# 260-9921) or a simple high-pressure ball valve can be used if you desire this parking function.
